About the Role
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are responsible for providing basic care to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. CNAs work under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs).
Requirements
Have a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Skilled in the use of computers and electronic health records.
Have demonstrated ability to take and record vital signs; transfer and transport patients in a safe manner using proper body mechanics; Â recognize signs and symptoms indicating distress; and to perform CPR if needed.
Have good patient assessment skills.
Have good documentation skills.
Be detail oriented.
